A quick breakdown of all the Big Ten games from week three. Not included is the Ohio State game, which has it’s own wrap on Buckeye Lane . I will talk more about the Washington game later on this week.

Notre Dame (0) at Michigan (38)
Michigan’s Ryan Mallett won the true freshmen battle over Jimmy Clausen.
Mallett out threw Clausen 90 yards to 74, these teams are truely amazing.
Check out what our fellow Big Ten Bloggers have to say about it:
Iowa (13) at Iowa State (15)
ISU kicker Bret Culbertson made five of six field goal attempts in this upset.
Iowa fans were thinking about a possible Big Ten title after wins against Northern Illinois and Syracuse. However, the Hawkeye fans were put in their place after losing to a team that had lost both of its previous games to Kent State and Northern Iowa.
Check out our Iowa blog- it always has interesting content- this week it should be really interesting.
Duke (20) at Northwestern (14)
Duke ended a 22-game losing streak.
In Northwestern’s defense, they were without its best player (running back Tyrell Sutton) due to an ankle injury.
We have one Northwestern blogger in our group of Big Ten Bloggers- see what he has to say:
Buffalo (24) at #12 Penn State (45)
Penn State beat one of the worst teams, if not the worst team in the MAC.
Quarterback Anthony Morelli (right) completed 20 of 27 passes for 202 yards and had four touchdowns without an interception.
We have four Penn State bloggers in our group of Big Ten Bloggers- see what they are saying:
Minnesota (39) at Florida Atlantic (42)
I picked Minnesota to be the Big Ten’s surprise team.
Surprise! The Gophers are much worse than any could have ever thought.
In this game, they had seven turnovers and allowed 580 yards.
We have two Gopher blogs in our group- see what they are saying:
Akron (24) at Indiana (41)
The score was tied, 17-17 at halftime.
Quarterback Kellen Lewis rushed for 199 yards on 18 carries and had five total touchdowns.
We have one Hooiser blog:
Citadel (31) at #7 Wisconsin (45)
Sophomore running back P.J. Hill rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns. He also had two catches for 20 yards and had a receiving touchdown.
Wisconsin continues to reel off wins against bad programs in weak fashion.
We only have one Wisconsin blog in our group, but it is a good one:
Central Michigan (22) at Purdue (45)
Purdue junior quarterback Curtis Painter, who threw for 3,985 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2006, threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns.
Painter is quietly putting up a Heisman type of season, so far he has completed 81 of 118 passes (68.6%) for 952 yards and has 13 touchdown passes without an interception.
Check out our Purdue blog - it is the newest member of the Big Ten Bloggers-
We still need blogs for Illinois and Michigan State
Pittsburgh (13) at Michigan State (17)
MSU is 3-0 and should beat Notre Dame this week.
The following week, they play @ Wisconsin- then we will know how good the Spartans are.
Illinois (41) at Syracuse (20)
Illinois beat Syracuse just like everyone else has -
Junior running back Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 150 yards on only 16 carries and scored three rushing touchdowns.
